Before installing the Shoppica WP ecommerce theme, it is assumed that you have a working Wordpress installation.
1Upload to your sever
Extract the .ZIP archive from themeforest to a local folder on your PC. It should contain a subfolder named shoppica-package, which should contain the following folder structure:

The most important file there is shoppica.zip. We also provide a legacy version that supports the older WooCommerce 1.6.x (shoppica_woocommerce_1.6.x.zip). You can install Shoppica like any other Wordpress theme by uploading it via FTP, or by using the Wordpress theme upload menu. Choose your prefered upload method below:
2Activate the theme
After uploading the theme to your server, you should activate it.
3Set Image Size
For WP e-Commerce:
![]()
For WooCommerce:
![]()
4Upload Wordpress Sample Data (optional)
In the archive that you download from Themeforest there is a folder named "Sample Data". There are three files there - Shoppica_Data.xml, WPEC_Products.xml, WooCommerce_Data.xml.
Here's how to import a sample data file:
The Shoppica_Data.xml file import some menus, pages, blog posts, portfolio and testimonial items. These items are extracted from the Shoppica demo site - shoppica-wordpress.com. You may want to assign menus from the imported data. Go to "Appereance -> Menus", select and save the 'Theme Location' options:

Important! The WooCommerce_Data.xml file contains WooCommerce records. If you don't have WooCommerce installed, you will recieve warnings while importing the data.
Important! The WPEC_Products.xml file contains WP e-Commerce records. If you don't have WP e-Commerce installed, you will recieve warnings while importing the data.
